Sue pretended to type out something on the holo display in front of her -- although she missed the physicality of a laptop this saved wonders in time and saving date -- with the keys projected onto the table. It took a little practice, like learning a smart phone screen after years of actual buttons. Reed could type on it without looking: show off.
[ 💌 ＢＲＯＡＤＷＡＹ ] You could have one of those gimmicky slideshows tabloids put on their websites. "MJ kidnapped by who".
[ 💌 ＢＲＯＡＤＷＡＹ ] Do you miss modeling?
Sue caught Mary Jane's eye across the room and SMILED. Reed nudged her with his foot under the table and she made a face at him. It was all the logistics he enjoyed and he could perfectly recite from memory anything she missed later if it was truly important.
[ 💌 ＢＲＯＡＤＷＡＹ ] I'm not as used to the kidnapping 😜 . . . it has happened! And when I haven't had my powers to help out!
[ 💌ＢＲＯＡＤＷＡＹ ] So how's being employed at Stark ? We should have brought you over to our company ! But Reed does get behind the bills sometimes with all that electricity usage so we couldn't guarantee your salary on time so regularly... plus Johnny makes flammable workspace a walking nightmare. I'd hate if you got hurt !

Sue was . . . bored. She had been listening to Tony for the past hour. As impressive a scientist, mechanic and strategist he was, that she respected him, it only lasted so long in a meeting. Who'd have thought superhero meetings could get dull ? Years of sitting through them -- SHIELD's were even worse -- proved that they could get very tedious. Even Reed wasn't begrudging her for taking out her phone and zoning out. She was doing quite the childish act: texting someone in the same room. CEO of S.I. the famous redhead herself.

+ These kind of MEETINGS were exactly the ones that had Mary Jane WISHING she could somehow have something happen to draw everyone's attentions ELSEWHERE . Condoning a SUPERVILLAIN attack likely wasn't as PROFESSIONAL as she could have been, but the MOOD set upon her as a result of how DRY this meeting was ? There was nothing in the world that could have HELPED it .
Something HARDLY helped by the way she felt her phone going off in her POCKET . Managing to smuggle it out of her pocket, she glanced over at Sue before she flipped open her MESSAGES .
