“That’s a part of what I was thinking. I mean, it would not be hard to set her up with a nursery.” She explained. “And on top of that, surely your mother could help out as well. If not, then there are nurses around as well.”
“Hmm... Mother does have more experience with this, surprisingly even father too. Both wouldn’t hesitate in lending a helping hand, I’m sure. But as a precaution I’ll have a talk with them to make sure they don’t train her into the ground like they did with me.”

“Well…as far as I know, she doesn’t have anyone else to turn to. I don’t even think I’d want to send her to an orphanage, where she could risk not getting adopted. So…” She was not opposed either.
“So then...” He’s bad at wording things sometimes, “Since she doesn’t have anywhere to turn to, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to take her in. She would have a good life with us instead of struggling in an orphanage.”

The surprise to her face surely could have given him the answer he was looking for. She had not expected the other to come back with a puppy of all things, especially since she wasn’t sure he was one for them. However, she was glad to at least see that since this was the result, then he was gonna be fine…hopefully.
She moved on closer, then wrapped her arms around the other. “I’m glad you’re back.” She said, laying her head against his chest. “I missed you.”
Surprise was better than seeing her upset,but being hugged... well. It still flusters him to this day, the only difference is that the past few times he’s gotten better about returning the hugs. It was still a great deal more careful than need be in how he gently wrapped his own arms around her.
“I missed you too.”

She understood very well that time flowed differently in all the other realms. That did not change the fact that she had grown to worry about him with each day that had passed without him returning. As far as she knew, someone had gotten to him elsewhere, and as such…
“…Welcome back.” She said, offering him a sad smile. “I take it you had a successful mission?” She asked.
“...”
She’s still upset, probably. He’s not so sure the gift will help but if he lets it be any longer, things could get troublesome. With his own way of expressing a guilty face, he stretched an arm back over his shoulder as if he was going to pull Wolfberg from his back. But instead his hand delved into his hood and grabbed the gift by its scruff and lifted it out of its sleeping spot by its scruff.
“I’m not sure. You tell me.”
Sure enough, Morgan lowered the large, fluffy white puppy to her- of course it was still a little dopey from just waking up but the fluffball wagged its tail sleepily.

He’d disappeared again. After all this time, she thought he had gone off somewhere, without even leaving a note for her. To say the least, she was rather shocked to even be seeing the other out there, and on top of that in pain.
“…Morgan.”
“Lucina.”
There she is, here he thought he would have to go further to find her but instead she- oh. Her expression. He couldn’t pin why she would have such a sad face, he’d only been gone a day which happened here and there. Then again...
“... Time flows different in places. I thought I only left for a day but if it’s been longer than that, I’m sorry. I was busy getting something for you.”

the bean plant ended up dying with the rest of them because dad didn’t build the plant boxes he said he would(we have sand and red clay here not dirt) and we had too harsh of winds and too much rain for them to sit outside so the weren’t able to grew very strong in their small biodegradable pots- which ended up molding
