Shamar Joseph - a security guard with 4 first-class match experience, got his toe split open yesterday and came and won it for his team. Unbelievable!
Brian Lara and Carl Hooper were in tears. And Adam Gilchrist and Ian Smith were happy for them. So beautiful to see.
WI just beat England in the undergoing Under-19 World Cup 2024. They've now beat Australia in Australia in Tests. And they beat India some time ago in T20I. Not qualifying for World Cup 2023 was a blow but I hope they take these wins as inspiration to take their cricket forward. Phenomenally spirited and inspiring performance today.

India vs England 5-test series in India is going to be the unstoppable force vs the immovable object.
India don't lose at home and England's been conquering the world with bazball. On the flip side, we have the ability to crap the bed at literally any point in a game while bazball floundered a bit in front of the mighty Australia's experience and resilience (The Ashes 2023). It will be a fun contest.

found out last night about the cricket player Don Bradman, whose batting average of 99.94% is “the greatest achievement by any sportsman in any major sport”, nearly a full 40 points above the second best player. Apparently they had to invent a whole new type of defense to try and deal with this dude.
I have no idea how cricket works but it’s hilarious that the best sportsman who ever lived chose to play British baseball of all things.

Subhman Gill - Gill hasn't got the "intensely aggressive expressions", in words of mine, mastered yet and in which kohli is the master of, among the other indian players... and thus he just seems like a princess amongst them so yeah he wins by quite a margin
Pat Cummins - this ones very close. It's unfair how pretty those kangaroos are, with those pretty smiles. But Patrick wins because of those dreamy eye lashes.
