Hi,
I want to take a moment to make a post that might be helpful for others who are considering entering a trauma-related field. It’s grad school application season, which means some of you are probably thinking ahead to where to apply next cycle (or still frantically trying to narrow down schools for this cycle!). If so, you likely already know that one of the most important aspects of choosing graduate schools to apply to is how well the programs and potential advisors fit your career interests and goals. It’s normal not to be 100% sure at this stage what you want to end up doing, but having a general idea can help a lot in finding a path that’s likely to lead to a helpful destination without too many derails along the way.
The post below might be helpful in several ways. First, it separates out clinical, child welfare, and research as potentially overlapping but nonetheless distinct areas in which you might want to focus. It covers how different fields (e.g., psychology, public health, social work, criminal / restorative justice) might contribute to or intersect with each. For the research subsection in particular, it lays out a list of potential research topics as well as the fields most likely to address each. A follow-up post will give a bit more detail on different fields themselves.
To be clear, sometimes, the best fit for you may be in an unexpected field or an area that I didn’t think to cover. You may end up training in one field, such as public health, and “officially” working in another field, such as sociology. Interdisciplinary and crossdisciplinary work is also common, meaning that professionals often work with colleagues from several fields. This post isn’t meant to be exhaustive or fully comprehensive, just a guide for those who are feeling overwhelmed, lost, or paralyzed by choices. If nothing else, I hope it gives followers a better idea of the myriad of ways one can approach trauma.

🧸 A Message From Your Stuffies 🧸
Hey Little One! I’m back with another message given to me from your stuffies. They want you to know that they see how hectic and overwhelming things have been lately and they’re super duper proud of you, but they want you to remember to take a break! Sometimes we have to work hard but we also have to take breaks while we work. Your stuffies want me to remind you to drink some water, get a snack, take some meds if you need, and maybe take a short snuggle break with them!

Life Updates
Hey kids! I haven’t been very active on instagram this past month which means I kinda disappeared from here completely. For the past month I was taking online summer classes and I was struggling very much, so I had to put content creation on the back burner while I focused on more urgent matters. I figured I should give y’all an update on what’s to come as well!
New Posts
Yes that’s right, I, a content creator, will be making content again! I already have one post queued up and ready to go tomorrow morning so new content will be rolling out very soon
Littles With
On instagram, I still have three more Littles With guides to post. After I have posted these I will be making new Littles With posts again! This series has gotten very big in the past year and as a result it’s become a little overwhelming. I will be focusing on organising my existing request list and working my way through it before I start taking more requests.
Please be patient while I work on this series, I know how much it means to many people and I really enjoy making the series, but I need to go at my own pace!
Instagram
As most of y’all know, Instagram is my main platform! I’m working on some new story content (book tour, story games and templates, etc) and I will be continuing the construction I paused before my disappearance! This mostly means revising my tags, re-doing some highlights, and other small administrative junk that probably isn’t interesting to y’all.
Like always I’ll be more active on Instagram than I am on here so if you want to see story content and interact with me, consider following me on insta @/babyboyollie ! My DNI is the same there as it is here so be sure to read that before following!
I only have a couple weeks before my fall semester starts. I’ll be very busy since I’m working in a research lab part time while pursuing both my degrees, so I hope to establish a good posting routine in my free time and spend a little time catching up with y’all!

Tumblr media
When i click this it just gives me your home screen
Tumblr media
^ and thats the post with all the links
That's strange! I just checked all the links from an alternate account and they all seem to be working. Either way, I went in and re-embedded the link just in case!
Tumblr media
When you tap the link to anything regarding a series (on mobile) it will take you to a private post like this ^ through your default search engine (like safari or chrome), then back to the app once you select a post! If you have things like pop-ups or re-routing disabled that may be part of the problem, but regardless I'll include the links to those specific posts in this ask! If anyone else is having similar issues with this series or any other please let me know in an Ask!

hello hello! So I have a question.. I have a lot of trouble regressing in the first place or staying regressed consistently. Most of the time I can't get myself to go past half regressed even tho I really want to. I was wondering if you have any advice for me? thank you!
Hello! I actually have a post on ways to regress when you're stuck being "big" here's the link!
I'd also like to add that you shouldn't put too much pressure on yourself to regress! When we put pressure on ourselves to do something it actually makes it harder to do, especially if it's something that we can't directly control. Regressing can be hard sometimes, trust that your mind knows what it's doing and try to be understanding with yourself! You will be able to regress again, it'll just take some time

why are you tagging your posts as "sfw [insert sexual term but its wrxttxn lxke thxs]"....like people probably put such tags in their filters for a reason can you Not mess the filtering system up so your posts with such tags Dont come in peoples' recommendations???
TW K!nk, cgl
Hi! I understand the confusion but dxlg, dxlb, mxlg, mxlb, and cgxl are actually SFW, non-kink tags commonly used in age regression. The X is not used to mess with or work around filtering systems. I am an age regression and age dreaming blog that has absolutely no affiliation with ddlg, kink or any other NSFW community and as such, all of the tags I use are 100% SFW and non-sexual!
Here is a post by @cglre that lists out several SFW tags for age regression
And here is a post by me crash course-ing the topic of crosstagging agere and ddlg
I hope this helped to clarify but if not feel free to send another ask!

Fun Little Recipes
Hey kiddos! Cooking and baking may be boring to some little ones and it may not seem worth all the effort, but all hope is not lost! Here are some fun and easy recipes you can do to make cooking and baking a little more fun!
Key: 🌱 = Vegan 🥗 = Vegetarian 🌾 = Gluten Free 🥚 = Egg free
🥛 = Dairy Free 🥜 = Nut free 🍭 = Sugar Free
🔪 = Requires sharp objects, 🔥 = Requires heat
Sweets and Desserts
Cup of Dirt! This one is probably one of my favourites and it’s super duper easy to make! All you need is chocolate pudding, crushed up Oreos, and some gummie worms. This one requires no heat or sharp objects so it may be especially good for super small kiddos! (Skill level: ⭐️) 🥗🥚🥜
Rainbow Cake! This is probably the most colourful cake I’ve ever seen! It requires quite a few steps and lots of tools so this recipe might be better for bigger kids or kids who find fun in the kitchen. This is a great recipe to let your imagination run wild! (Skill level: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) 🥗🥜🔪🔥
Raspberry Sorbet! Not all desserts have to be chocolate, they don’t even have to be baked! This sorbet is fruity, frozen, and best of all, it’s totally vegan! All you need is some raspberries, lemon juice, and sugar. This recipe may be best for bigger kids or kids with the help of a CG as it does require a blender or food processor! (Skill level: ⭐️⭐️) 🌱🥗🌾🥚🥛🥜🔪
Healthy Options
Toadstool Salad! This salad seems especially well suited to any cottagecore kiddos out there! It also has very few ingredients so if you’re a baby on a budget this may be a great option! All you need is some lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, mayo, and a few hard boiled eggs. (Skill level: ⭐️⭐️) 🥗🌾🥜🍭🔪
Banana Caterpillars! With this cute recipe you can turn a regular banana into a cute little caterpillar! You’ll need a banana, pretzel sticks, peanut butter, some raisins, and coconut shavings. (Skill level: ⭐️) 🌱🥗🥚🥛🍭🔪
Rainbow Pizza! This recipe not only makes pizza cute, but also healthy! With only two steps this dish is perfect for kids who are just starting out in the kitchen and want something easy to begin with. (Skill level: ⭐️⭐️) 🥗🥚🥜🍭🔪🔥
Snacks
Puppy Chow Mix! If you’ve ever heard of Muddie Buddies, this is basically the homemade version of those! Take some chex-like cereal and add peanut butter and chocolate. This recipe is great if your little is also a pet regressor! (Skill Level: ⭐️⭐️) 🥗🌾🥚🔥
Cream Cheese Penguins! These little penguins are absolutely adorable! All you need is some olives, cream cheese, and a carrot and you’ll have a fleet of tasty little penguins at your side! (Skill level: ⭐️) 🥗🌾🥚🥜🍭🔪
Pear Hedgehogs! There’s always something so cute about animal shaped snacks, and this pear hedgehog is no different! With some pears, almond slices, and raisins you can make a cute and tasty little treat! (Skill level: ⭐️) 🌱🥗🥚🌾🥛🍭🔪

🚧Construction Complete!!🚧
Hey kids! I’m happy to say that my account construction is finally complete! Here’s a list of everything that’s new:
New header and avatar: My avatar now matches my insta pfp once more! My header has also been updated to a picture that I like much better. My header is my own original art, please do NOT save, share, or repost it on any platform.
New blog aesthetic: The main colours and accent colours of my blog have been changed! The old colours were the very first ones I picked when I first made my blog. I wasn’t happy with them at all, now my colours better fit my space theme!
New Blog Bio: My bio is now my clean looking and more relevant to my blog! I always intended for my old bio to be temporary but never got around to updating it. Now it better fits my blog and the “image” I’d like to project.
Fixed the tags on my posts: I finally went through every post I’ve ever made and added uniform tags. Now my tags actually have an organisational purpose.
Edited every post for spelling errors: I edited every single post I’ve ever made and fixed any and all spelling errors that I could find. All my posts should read much smoother now.
Updated every “Littles With” post: In addition to fixing the spelling errors I also updated all of my Littles With posts. Now every post (where applicable) has a short description of the illness/disorder/topic that it discusses plus sources.
And finally, my favourite update and the one I am most proud of, I have a brand new Blog Directory!!
The Blog Directory is a massive link tree. Every post I have ever made is linked in the directory. Have you ever wanted to share a specific post of mine but couldn’t find it? Now you can! All my posts are easily found and all the important information about me and my account are also here.
I’ve spent so long on this directory and I’m so incredibly proud of it. I hope it makes navigating my blog easier and y’all find it as cool as I do!
The Blog Directory includes a new and updated DNI as well as a new set of Repost Rules. If you haven’t seen them yet please take a moment to go read them!
