i’m actually so bored of modern life. being bombarded by information and entertainment on all sides until it becomes meaningless. of course i participate in it willingly but i feel like i have no attention span anymore & even when i’m not on my phone i need to be doing something to entertain myself: reading, cooking, cleaning etc. but even then i’m bored. i’m bored of myself. i feel like i need to go lay in the dirt and be bored of nothing for a while instead of being bored of everything.
#this is why i like hiking so much#it’s the only place and activity#where i can truly turn my brain off#now I see people on the trail with AirPods in all the time#or worse: a speaker blasting music#people bring their sensory overload with them now#even doing activities trying to escape it#it’s wild
