just posted the first chapter which is some world building and introducing some original characters
I have about 10 chapters ready to be posted so I'll post them every two days or so!!

im working on a thranduil x reader fic bc brain go brr and i just recently got into the hobbit/lotr franchise

i know im not very active here lol but i just wanted to come out and say that; any live action from a book shouldnt be done. if anything, an animated series would be best.
im saying this solely because fancasts are different from person to person and the actual casting can get lots of people upset. just generally — not everyone is going to agree for the casting.
for example, this one girl on tiktok who was cosplaying (or maybe acting for a fan made film?) as feyre from ACOTAR got bullied and fat-shamed by other fans.
the reason why im saying this now is because i just saw a tweet fancasting miley cyrus as evelyn hugo. who is latina. you see the issue? (i dont hate miley dont get me wrong)
in short, i feel that most fans would be pleased to see (as an example) ACOTAR characters animated ACCURATELY. PLUS!!! if the series is based around fantasy or futuristic sci-fi, animation would also be best for that because sometimes CGI sucks lol
because if theres anything im sure anybody would want from any adaptation of their favourite book, game, etc., would be ACCURACY, no?
(and in my personal opinion i think the animation style like castlevania (2017) or legend of vox machina would be cool for fantasy based books)
(remember the percy jackson movies? yeah…)
also the last of us series!!! imo the casting was great and they stayed true to the video game!
anyways yeah i just wanted to say that lol, pls dont attack me <3
