It's all related!
We saw how the civilisation was before the Great Mushroom War in Elemental (S7E34).
Tumblr media
A bomb exploded and blew everything up, unleashing the Lich and other evil beings whose purpose was to finish every sort of existence. Only a few humans survived.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A young Marceline, who previously lived with her human mother in a trailer house, was left alone after the explosion for unknown reasons, although it’s probable that Hunson Abadeer, her demon father, kept his little daughter in the Nightosphere while the whole damn world was perishing, even Marcy’s mother.
Tumblr media
After she was taken back to Earth, she found Simon Petrikov, who was already turning into the Ice King because of the powers of the Ice Crown, which kept him alive during the war. They looked after each other for a few years, but, nevertheless, Simon had to leave Marceline alone because he was going “nuts”. Before running away, he said that he was going to send a guardian who’d take care of her. Guess who? I bet it was Mr. Abadeer.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s been a few years and Marcy is older. Her hobby is killing vampires and getting their abilities by sucking their souls (something that she’s been taught by her father). Doing this, she feels that she’s protecting the human race, but specially Simon. One day she comes across a human tribe leaded by Two Bread Tom, who psychologically resembles him. Although they first thought that she was a vampire and got scared, they ended up realising that she was nice and just wanted to be their friend and savior. Tom said that, as humans, they had to sing: this could be a reference to Ray Bradbury’s book, Fahrenheit 451, where the main character escapes from his city hours before it’s destroyed because of the explosion of a huge-ass bomb. The guy (who’s called Guy) joins a tribe whose plan is to bring their culture back by passing down the knowledge they got from the books.
Tumblr media
However, soon they had to leave the continent. Not because of the vampires, the oozers or the hungry rainycorns, but because something bigger was coming. Was it the catalyst comet? Nah, I don’t know. Maybe the Lich? Perhaps. Could it be GOLB? Pssst. In fact, WE DON’T KNOW. But we do know what happened to Two Bread Tom’s people.
Tumblr media
They evolved and became hyoomans.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When they departed, they probably wanted to find a place where they could be safe and stay away from that horrible thing that was about to show up. A bunker was the perfect place… Beautopia. Maybe they also brought Marcy with them but she refused to settle down in the bunker, and that’s why they both live in Ooo. Anyway, the humans spent so many centuries down there, in contact with water, that, along with the radiation produced by the bomb, they started developing gills and smelling fishy.
Tumblr media
But did everyone experience this alteration? No, they didn’t. At the end of the episode Beautopia (S3E14), Susan Strong was amazed to find out that Finn was a human. Was it because he was different? No, it was just the opposite.
Tumblr media
In Dark Purple (S6E29) it is revealed that this misterious character turns out to be a cyborg, what would mean that, formerly, she was a human. We can also see in this episode that she empathizes a lot when a baby from the hyooman tribe is taken out of his mother’s hands. I guess that this motherly sense means something. Is it that she once lost her baby? I think so. And considering that Susan Strong and Martin Mertens are almost the same age, we can figure out something.
Tumblr media
If Martin’s statement in The Visitor (S6E27) is true, Finn was born in the sea, in a banana boat.
Tumblr media
All this would imply that, if Susan were Finn’s mother, she would be on the boat too. But the man had to go on an dangerous mission, which he states as a life choice, and left Finn alone promising that some day he’d come back for him, but didn’t. So the questions are: Which was the task, and why was it so dangerous? Was it a secret assignment so that no one could know about it? Is that chip on Susan’s head because someone wanted her not to remember about it and manipulated her cerebral cortex? Has she always belonged to the hyooman tribe?
Tumblr media
I believe that all this questions will be answered in the forthcoming episode The Light Cloud (Season 8), where Susan will appear.
Tumblr media
Until then, all we can do is wait, but I’m sure that the one who looks forward the most to this is this little cherub.

Here's an interesting observation from "Angel Face": the Statue of Liberty. There's a possibility the "Ooo is California" theory discussed before was incorrect. ==

In the new Adventure Time short, "Sow, Do You like Them Apples",  there's a brief moment where Peppermint Butler is seen dragging a body and carrying a shovel across his shoulders. Just an insight, but definitely kind of creepy. Since he is a pretty dark being after all,  what else could it be?

I've noticed this page has become dormant - which is mostly my fault.
I promise you as soon as the show gets back on its feet, interesting theories will start popping up your dashboard (and facebook newsfeeds). In the meantime, enjoy some occasional speculations of the show. ==

This raises a pretty good point, doesn't it? Could it be some royal law implemented because the Candy People are, according to PB, "light-headed"?
Does knowing about this "right" make you less sympathetic with PB and more sympathetic will Starchy? Or is it the opposite for you? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below.

[Theory regarding Ignition Point] “I thought I had you two extinguished.” - Flame King “You cannot quench the flamessss of revenge!” - Furnius
What if there’s a reason as to why the Flame Kingdom [used to] be centered around being evil? What if Furnius was being literal when he said that? What if Furnius and Torcho did get extinguished once, but their anger and thirst for revenge re-ignited them?
It could be that the more evil one is, the more powerful their flames would be.
This can be the reason as to why being kind is seen as weak. Flame King even tried to convince his people by saying, “I mean, how do you expect this softy to rule you?” then immediately described how weak Flame Princess had become because of the poison – which weakened her flames. The more evil and ruthless a Flame citizen is, the more powerful they become. It’s already clear their flames are so heavily influenced by emotions, which is why Furnius and Torcho re-ignitied after their death - because of their anger. Could their alignment (evil) also have affected their revival?

Simon might actually be Marceline's father.
Marceline could have caught a bad cold, prompting Hudson Abadeer bite her neck so that she could survive. Perhaps Simon then realized he was left alone and lost his only motivation to take care of the crown, making him the Ice King.

Theory regarding the Susan’s impact in 'Deep Purple':
Perhaps the Hyoomans are still mutants and Susan is possibly Finn's mother who ended up among the Hyooman tribe as a result of an accident on “the Ship” (mentioned by Martin on 'The Visitor’). My theory is Martin was actually telling the truth in 'The Visitor’, especially given Finn has an ongoing fear of the ocean.
The implant on Susan is a device that either existed before or was implanted to save her life after “the accident”.
Perhaps this same accident resulted in amnesia? She could’ve had enough knowledge of English after her accident, but had to relearn the language slowly.

As of "Gold Stars”, it is established that the Lich King is not 100% hidden inside of Sweet P.
What if Sweet P later begins to learn emotions such as sadness, betrayal, loneliness, and/or anger? The Lich King will likely reclaim his body, or Sweet P himself will become evil and powerful. Sweet P still seems ignorant of what he is or can be, but as we saw he can summon his old self. Maybe the triggering point would be Tree Trunks leaving Mr. Pig, as this was close to happening in “Wake Up” just before Sweet P came to live with them.

Could Justin have ended his life in episode, "The Diary"?
The way he is written in the diary suggests that he became very attached to Betsy. However, as the story progresses we learn she leaves him without saying a word, and instead leaves the goodbye letter in her diary and puts it in a moat. Justin also did leave her a nice gift in the tree at Love Tree Point. If Justin thought he was going to see Betsy again, he would of kept this gift to give it to her instead of leaving it in a tree.
We never see or hear about anyone who is in a new relationship Justin, and it seems like Nurse Pound Cake is single. Also, Jake tells T.V. that Love Tree Point has not been used as a dating spot for a LONG time... people may have stopped going there after someone, which is probably Justin, ended their life.

There were 4 elementals in “Evergreen”, who were Ice, Candy, Fire, and Slime. All these elementals could be related to princesses in modern Ooo.
The Candy elemental could be related to Princess Bubblegum. Slime Princess could be or be related to the Slime elemental, and the Flame King being or being related to the Fire elemental
