The ghost was shocked at the rattata's reply It appears they weren't expecting Joey to take them up on their offer... The idea of eating carrots or... even spending time with another for a longer period of time... made it happy. The duskull gently prods their fingers together shyly "I would.. enjoy that. It would be nice to share carrots with... a friendly face for once... I am... alone... often..."

The duskull looks around the room suddenly as a creaking can be heard coming from the walls "But... you are correct... The other things that are here... don't eat carrots they... eat..." The duskull remains silent for a moment "...Perhaps it is best if you leave before they come out..." The duskull floats by the ruined window, peering out and observing the area, before deeming it safe. Offering Joey a safe way out of the area. "I hope that one day we both can have.. many carrots and eat them together.. Food is better... with friendly faces."

Me, I’m REALLY bad at seeing things. I’m good at smelling, though! So maybe I need to eat a buncha carrots.

I only had it a few times... it wasn't.. common to this area... but..." The ghost stares down at the ground, it's shattered weeping eye socket scanning the floor. The ghost looks the paper up and down, moving the piece closer and farther from their face. It appeared they were struggling to see what was on the image, but they still held it close to their body. They felt like it was important, perhaps even a image of them? It wouldn't be able to tell until later... So for now, the duskull keeps the image. Photographs and drawn images are scarce, as most have faded over time or gotten damaged. So duskull knew that this was special and it needed to be kept safe. when i first got into the pokeask sphere, this was one of my favorite blogs, and actually sparked the idea of ask-amnesiac-drifloon, so it's very exiting and weirdly nostalgic to see it update again.

The duskull floats around in a circle, happy at the mere thought of carrots "I hope I can find more.. Everything else that lurks about here... They do not seem to enjoy carrots. So that means they are for me!" The foot board of the bed creaks slightly under your weight as you hang off the side, causing more skittering noises to be heard throughout the room. Yet nothing else appears to be in the room. Not fully. The duskull doesn't seem too concerned by these noises and begins to observe the ground closely. "If I find a extra... I can give one to you. Food is scarce if you don't... eat others.."

ANATOMY: "DUSKULL" Image dated: August of 2022 No Name Available - Doesn't seem accepting of having a name for themselves. But doesn't mind others calling them whatever they like. Lives at "HOME" - HOME is a dark padded room inside one of the wings of a abandoned hospital. - HOME can only be accessed by Duskull, as they have put a spell on the door to make it only so they can enter and exit properly - To Open and Close the door, Duskull must use CURSE on itself.

what do you need the items for?

The ghost sits on the bed, it's "tail" wiggling back and forth much as if they were trying to "kick their feet" Sitting in a bed felt... nice. Familiar... ... The Ghost quickly floats back up above the rotting and rusted bedframe and continues searching about the area "I need these items.. To last me for another week.. I can make it last a week.." The duskull is now underneath the bedframe, searching the floor rubble. "Although... resources are... getting limited... In this wing..." There is scuffling heard outside the window. The duskull continues their search Time is limited before they must return HOME.

The ghost begins to quietly rummage around the empty room They have not been in here before The stench lingering in the room is thick with rotten flesh and mold The dust is thick and one has to wave their hand around to even get some "clean" breathing air, if you could even call it that The ghost continues to mutter under their breath. 1 Bag.2 Carrots.5 Bones.1 Flameand 1 Paste. The ghost continues to search the room, looking in every nook and cranny they are able.

The Duskull shuffles across the room, staring at some rubble on the floor

“It wasn’t a good place to begin with…. So maybe that’s why it’s how it turned out… so much evil in one place….”

The Duskull glances at their own arms in silence, letting out a painful wheeze as they glance at their wound

“I only became part of it…. So it is now MY purgatory…”

They stand in the doorway, running their hand down the doorframe slowly and let’s out one more harsh whisper.
