Hey, so i'm sorry for not posting any answers to everyone's questions, I've been very busy with other stuff I deem more important.

AskChipnDale isn't my only purpose in life. I do other stuff - I make animations with my OCs, and I've been trying to make a webcomic.

Plus, I do marching band in High School, and that has lots of rehearsals - it takes up a lot of my time, leaving me too tired to want to do anything when I come home.

Right now, I've been trying to work on an animation for a MAP part that I've been slacking on - its currently due in like 2 days. I have limited time to do stuff on the computer, so that animation is taking up a majority of my time right now. I've been trying to make it cool, and not lazy. The part is pretty long, too, and I'm not the best with animations that are longer than 3 seconds. I'm almost done with it, i have to color in one scene, and then create the short, final animation, and the thing will be done.

And, on top of all things, even though Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers is a great movie, lately I've been losing the interest I had when I first started the blog. Don't get me wrong, I still love it, but my motivation to do this is plummeting. And I have a lot of questions building up that I need to answer, and the more I put it off, the more questions come into my inbox, the less i'm willing to tackle them.

I will get back to doing this, and I appreciate those of you who still love this blog and giving me the motivation I need to try to keep going.

I personally like the idea of both of them, but in my mind, its sort of the first option, where they both had feelings for each other, but they both somewhat acted like a couple a lot, without either of them realizing they were, to the point of others believing they were a couple, and if asked about their relationship status, they would get a flustered response from both of them, like "Hahaha, no, he's just a friend!" Because both of them were best friends, and though they had crushes on one another, both of them are too afraid to tell the other, cuz they don't wanna ruin their friendship.

Chip and Dale: literally holding hands

Some random person: Aww, you guys are such a great couple!!

Dale: Oh, we aren't dating, heh

Chip and Dale: internally screaming

I feel like Chip is more aware of his feelings for Dale, and it results in him being like "ok, gotta act cool, don't be obvious", but then he fricks it up somehow

Chip: (Oh God, here comes Dale, be cool, say "Hello", or, "How are you?" Just something!)

Dale: Hey Chip!

Chip: [mixes the two phrases together] How?

Dale: ???

Chip: (ok wheres the nearest cliff to jump off of-)

...Whereas Dale has no clue that he has a crush on Chip and just does flirtatious stuff for no reason, and without realizing he's being flirtatious, and it probably takes him 3 hours for him to realize what he said that made Chip's face turn red lol

Chip: [trying on his costume for "Rescue Rangers" for the first time] Hey Dale, how do I look?

Dale: Dude!! You look awesome! Brings out your eyes.. You lookin real handsome, Chip!

Chip: [face is red] heh.. Thanks..

3 hours later

Dale: [spits out his drink after realizing what he had said]

..But I feel like both of them try to act cool when around each other, so they don't reveal their feelings lol

After the events of the film, I feel like their crushing on each other resurfaced once they became friends again, and started growing more and more as they hung out again.

I also can't help but love the fact Chip is ever so slightly smaller than Dale, and I feel like Dale could pick up Chip if he wanted to lol

But Dale picks Chip up princess style tho, cuz its easier for him, and he gets the best reactions from Chip lmao

A Question for All Chip ’n Dale 2022 Fans

I’ve seen two interpretations of Chip and Dale’s relationship here on Tumblr:

1) Chip and Dale both had romantic feelings for each other, but neither confessed. They had plenty of chances to do so, but lost them all when Dale left to do his own show. They’ll probably finally admit their feelings to each other after the events of the film.

2) Chip and Dale had already started dating around the time they were doing Rescue Rangers together. They broke up when Dale left to do his own show. They’ll probably get back together after the events of the film.

Which of those do you prefer?

I think both scenarios are good in their own way, and both are rife with fanfic inspiration.

I used to favour Scenario 1 for its themes of tension and regret and missed opportunities, but I’m coming to see the appeal of Scenario 2 for fluff and indulgence and heartbreak.

What about you? Do you see Chip and Dale as friends who never dared to ask for more, or as lovers who became exes? I’d really like to know!

How easy is it to find small food for small chipmunks? If a recipe calls for eggs, do you have to use hummingbird eggs instead of the regular chicken eggs? Or do you just cut out the hassle and eat tiny ready meals?
