Amnesia: Memories Shin Fanart!
Hewwo Iâm new to Amnesia: Memories! I just finished watching the anime like, a day or two ago and I really loved it! It seemed quite popular because many YouTube compilations of âOtome Animeâ included Amnesia on their list, and I also saw somebody do a GORGEOUS cosplay of Ukyo on Instagram ( @ichigomiyazaki )
Shin is my favourite character, and evil Ukyo scares the FRICK out of me.
I saw some REALLY pretty watercolour Fanart of Ukyo and Toma on Tumblr (by @si3art ) recently so that inspired me to do some Fanart, and here it is! I havenât done much Fanart before and this is probably one of the first anime/manga art that Iâve ever done so Iâm quite proud of it!
I used a photo of him as reference so it does look similar to the photos online. Like, itâs not that original tbh
I havenât finished the Fanart yet but Iâll post it as soon as Iâm done! Also, Iâm planning on getting the game :D
(I also posted this on Amino if anybodyâs interested lol)
(P.S I google translated and found out that Shin means heart in Japanese??? Ahh thatâs so cute)

Hellooo!! Sorry itâs taking so long to make these, itâs been busy lately đ I really hope this one isnât as bad as I think it is, Iâm bad with making arguments and break up scenes đȘ but I tried!!! Ugh I have so much angst left to write, wish me luck!
Also pls donât be sad đ
Deal Breaker:
Shin: Shin is a bit of a hothead at the best of times. The deal breaker for him would be somebody that canât trust him. This leads to lots of fights because of his loverâs issues with trust. He usually starts them because she doesnât tell him lots of thing, it upsets him and he ends up yelling. The thing that makes him snap is when he suspects her of hiding an affair and even when he finds out that it isnât true, he canât take it anymore. âIt takes me snapping to get you to tell me anything! You donât trust me! Youâre impossible! I canât take this, itâs done, weâre done,â he breaks it off in the middle of an argument and he ends up crying once she leaves because even though he loves her he knows that this has to be the end because theyâll never be happy.
Ikki: Ikki needs his lover to be calm with him, she canât parade him around like a trophy. He has always been somebody that is used to make others jealous and he was sick of that. Through the long months that theyâre together, he feels that she only ever brings him out to show him off. In private she is a different person, more lovable and caring. He canât take it anymore when theyâre out together while on vacation and sheâs showing him off as if he were a trophy wife, holding his arm and keeping him away from anybody that spoke to him. He finally loses it while theyâre walking down the main street near their hotel. âIâm not a prize, Iâm not a fucking trophy! Stop acting like I am! Iâm a person, Iâm a man that loves you, the man youâre supposed to love, not some goddamn arm-candy! This is it, I love you, but Iâm done, itâs over, letâs just go home now so we can move you out or something,â and he hurried off to the hotel without her.
Kent: Kent canât handle somebody thatâs too clingy, he wants his own space and he doesnât like somebody that easily gets jealous. He wants somebody that doesnât need to be near him constantly. As time passes he can see that sheâs getting too clingy and too controlling and he canât handle that. He tries to keep going with her, he tries to keep loving her, but itâs too hard. He finally snaps when she gets angry at him when the go out to dinner and heâs kind to the waitress. She waits until they leave before she starts whining. âWhy were you so nice to her? Iâm the only one you should be speaking to so kindly,â thatâs when he finally gives up. âIâm sick of you controlling who I talk to and what I say, stop being so clingy, stop whining about everything! God, Iâm done, I donât want to do this anymore,â and he storms off, leaving her to walk home on her own.
Toma: Toma is an insecure type of person and wants his girlfriend to be clingy, unlike Kent, he wants to be the only guy she hangs out with. He gets easily jealous and wants to be the only thing that matters to his lover. He may love his s/o, but he canât take her carefree nature. He breaks after many times of arguing because she was too friendly to other men. The final time was when she hugged Shin in front of him. âWhy does it matter, heâs our friend, Toma! Weâve known him forever!â She argues and though she may have a point, heâs not having it. He gets angrier every time she brings up the fact that theyâre all friends and ends up ending their relationship. âIf youâre so caught up on us all being friends and wanting to cuddle up to Shin, why donât you just go date him instead?!â He stomps off, regretting his decision.
Ukyo: Ukyo never really gets angry and he wasnât one to argue either. His deal breaker though is somebody that cheats and doesnât respect him. He canât help hating people do that as it just doesnât make sense. If youâre not in love, just break up. Thatâs why when he catches the woman he loves in bed with one of her friends, he canât help boiling over. âUkyo, Iâm so sorry, I just-⊠I donât know what I was thinking!â she cries and begs for his forgiveness, but he canât forgive her for that kind of thing. âIf you decided to sleep with somebody else, then you arenât sorry. I canât do this, I want to break-up.â He doesnât even bother listening to her pleas as he storms out of the apartment.

State of the blog
Hi Amnesia loving peeps,
I will be staying on tumblr for the foreseeable future. I will not be posting on any blogs tomorrow to boycott the changes on tumblr. However, posts may no longer be everyday as with the broken tags, it is harder to find peoples work. Asks may return. While I donât post âadultâ content, I do tag posts that I think are suggestive as such. It is possible this blog will be targeted but it hasnât as of now.
Let me take the time now to thank you all for asks, your amazing artwork, translations, and commitment to the fandom. I know many of us are sad we still have no localized sequels in sight, but I try to remain hopeful.Â
I started this blog in 2016 when I was unsure of where my life was going. Keeping it going has helped me learn a lot of about people, especially people I did not initially like (Sorry Shin) and people I thought I would never like (Ikki, what you have a harem!). And through Kent, Ukyo, and Toma, they challenged me to think about things differently. Kent showed us there is a thoughtful approach to strange problems. Ukyo showed us things are more than they seem, and also I think was laughing along with us at the silly parts of the game. And Toma, he has helped me confront the ugly sides of myself, while reminding me I am still loved.
