Announcement - Hiatus

I was honestly meant to say this a few hours ago back in 2015, but I’ll say it now since I forgot (too busy playing Portal 2 and beating it before the new year.)

I love this blog to death. The beginning of this blog was meant to be a pairing account with my friend who had ask--princess--celestia. Now, between the two of us, I’m the one who’s survived this long. My replies were meant to be weekly, but they ended up being sporadic. I had hoped to one day make it so that it’ll be back on a queue, but it won’t happen.

This blog will go on a hiatus, but a very long hiatus.

My reasons are personal and it definitely has nothing to do with the blog itself. I appreciate every ask I receive, even if I don’t have a chance or know how to answer them. My followers have made me feel special and has definitely motivated me to improving my pony art. Man, when I look back to how things use to be for my art and this princess... Wow. I’d like to purge it in a fire, but it also shows how far I have come.

Which is why it has to go on a hiatus. I promised myself that as long as I draw for this fandom, I wouldn’t allow my other art to suffer from it. It did, though, for many years. It felt so good to draw something that I felt I was actually good at that every other art just seemed like a chore. And my ability to draw humans has greatly suffered from it. I want 2016 to be different. I want to actually get better at everything.

I won’t be gone forever. I just need to take a break from this fandom and blog until I’m happy with my other forms of art. Please don’t ask me how long. I need to do this for my own personal reasons and I can’t put a date for that. Don’t hesitate to continue sending asks, though! Once I return, I’ll be doing my best to answer promptly!

Mod: are you ok? I have bot seen ya in a while.

I’m going to reply to this instead of drawing. I’ve been well! I have been focusing on other things and now that I’m free from it, I find myself to be... disappointed in the way I draw ponies, at the moment. I’m going to do my best to return around October. Thank you for checking up on me!
