Hello ! This year I try to challenge the Advent Calendar. One day, one picture from December 1st to 24th ! I chose the theme : Lovers I hope I will succeed to overcome it XD

Over a single tango by Vyrhelle-VyrL

English This Deviation is not only an illustration but a special announcement. For several years, I have developped Arcea's universe, working on comics books, sketchbooks, artbooks. But last year, I needed to work on something else too, something different. At first, it was to change my mind. But then, it became a way to try news drawing technics but it was above all to develop my writing skills. Because I have some projects/ideas that can be realized if I become more experimented writing stories. So, here is "Over a single tango", a free fanfiction published online ! and above all, in English ! Written in collaboration with A. Conroy , this story is published since mars in French and now translated by   (she's really, really better suited than me to do this !!) and published in English too !! With exclusive black and white pictures ! But make no mistake, this story is not about dance, but a romance in upheaval of a fantastic univers, with political plots, aventures, Symbiosis and guns ! An inflamed and intense romance between Celia and Sean, like a tango... ... happy reading !! ______ Français Cette déviation n'est pas seulement une illustration, mais aussi et surtout une annonce très spéciale. Alors que je me suis essentiellement axée sur l'univers d'Arcea depuis plusieurs années et que travaille toujours sur les albums de BD et les artbooks en découlant, depuis l'année dernière, j'ai ressenti le besoin de travailler sur autre chose, en parallèle. Quelque chose de différent. D'abord simplement pour me changer les idées, ensuite pour expérimenter de nouvelles techniques en dessin mais aussi et surtout pour développer mes capacités en matière d'écriture. Car il se trouve que j'ai plusieurs projets/idées qui pourraient bien se concrétiser si je parviens à être plus sûre de moi dans ce domaine. Je vous présente donc "Le temps d'un Tango", une fanfiction publiée gratuitement en ligne ! D'après un scénario écrit en collaboration avec A. Conroy, cette histoire est publiée en français depuis le mois de mars, à raison d'un chapitre toutes les semaines, chapitre accompagné d'une illustration inédite en noir et blanc. Ceux qui me suivent sur Facebook connaissent déjà ce blog, mais il était grand temps que je fasse une annonce ici aussi, ne serait-ce que pour y découvrir toute une série d'images exclusives à ce blog. Par contre, ne vous y trompez pas. Malgré ce que peut laisser présager le titre, ce n'est pas du tout une intrigue autour de la danse, mais une romance prise dans la tourmente d'un univers bel et bien fantastique, sur fond d'intrigues politiques, d'aventures, de Symbiose et d'armes à feu ! Une romance entre Célia et Sean, une romance plutôt enflammée et intense comme un tango... ... Bonne lecture !!
