I kind of suspect (or think wistfully) that Sigrun and Mikkel are secretly married XDD
OH, I actually wish it were true, but sadly no, Sigrun said already, that she just met few days earlier with Mikkel before Emil, Tuuri and Lalli arrived.
but I wonder how they two spend those days, if they talked a bit and maybe kind of get closer? or they didn’t really talk at all to get to know each other? or just didn’t want to talk to each other?
(she acted to him, like she looks so down on him, maybe because he was out of job, she disdains him, and avoided to talk much to him. She is a captain, and being a daughter of two generals makes her act like she is on a higher rank [not only as working rank], and Mikkel is nothing but a small peasant or servant.)
I am sure they talked a bit too, if Emil was asked to try to get closer to Tuuri and Lalli too. However she does not seem to know more about Mikkel then anyone else, Maybe it was more a one-side talk and Sigrun told stories to Mikkel only, Whole Mikkel didn’t say anything. Or they had other things to do which made them busy and no time for talk. or didn’t talk much.
I actually wanna know what they actually spent that time as…… or how close they could get in that few days.

BUT what if they are both actually married to a random other and unknown man/woman. I could see this too,
however this mission is too dangerous, Mikkel probably would not go on this if he has a wife and children too. But in some way, I can see him being single yet. or can be married with no children. or most likely as a single guy.
and I already had this kind-of-headcanon, about Sigrun, if she already had a young teen son and had a husband many years ago, she got married really early age, but lost him later in a trollhunting season.
