the stuff going on at columbia campus rn is genuinely incredible

one of my classes this semester has weekly discussion boards (i truly crave oblivion) and last week we were given the choice of commenting on either a movie we had just watched for another assignment due that same night, or an essay that we had to read for an assignment due several days later. so of course all 50+ people in the class commented on the movie, because we had actually seen the movie already.

Here is how this week's discussion board prompt was phrased:

"The first question is about this week's featured movie. The second question is about Joseph Brodsky's essay "Less than One." The essay is one of prose masterpieces by Brodsky and as such provides excellent material for analysis and reaction. The choice is yours."

ok. my boss responded by sending exactly the information i asked her to send (not all of the info i asked for or that we as the leadership team need, but some of it). maybe this means she's not resentful. or maybe it means she's Trying not to be resentful because she genuinely wants to be nice but will still hold it against us in really obvious ways next time she sees us in person while pretending not to be upset at all so that we can't address the conflict, only making it snowball. guess we'll see!!

not to brag but i spoke up in the chat for the first in an hour to make a diplomatic suggestion and two people immediately liked my message. i am getting such a good grade in being employed rn. either that or i just pissed my boss off at a time when i desperately need her goodwill to get my own major annual project done. guess we'll fucking see!!
