I don't think Eddie knows what being in love feels like. he was fond of Shannon but married her out of guilt and/or sense of duty, and escaped to the army as soon as he could. with Ana he didn't fall in love either: he started thinking it was time to find Shannon's replacement and Ana was familiar and "nice" (a word he uses often to describe his dates). then his aunt starts pestering him about being alone and he, again, doesn't fall in love - he just starts dating the first "nice" woman he comes across in the hardware store.

so what if he asks Buck how did he know he liked Tommy *that* way, and what Buck describes are things that Eddie never felt for any of his girlfriends but has felt and still feels for Buck?? what if he finally realizes why none of his relationships have worked, why he had panic attacks and "performance" issues, and why he has always felt at home with Buck? but now it's too late, because Buck has a boyfriend and he's happy...

Wanting buddie over Bucktommy is not saying Bi Buck is not important without buddie. We just want to see the relationship we’ve seen grow over the last years develop into the beautiful love story we know they could have. Two characters of the same gender getting together fast can still be a good relationship however it’s the same thing every other show does. Just one time I’d like to see seasons of them getting to know each other before they get together. A lot of people were saying Buck “had to be in a relationship with another man before Eddie” but now that he’s with Tommy suddenly it doesn’t matter if he’s the first guy he’s with? Which personally I don’t like the take where people are dictating like there’s a number of men he’d have to be with regardless he’d still be bisexual, and there’s no wrong way or right way to be bi.

The way I’m honestly willing to bet anything and everything on the fact that Oliver and Ryan fucking know Buddie is happening. Tim has called them and told them BOTH that it’s happening. That’s why they heavily did press together before the start of the season. That’s why Ryan’s been let out of PR jail and happily speaking about Buddie whenever he can. That’s why Oliver is doing a million interviews. Yes the story is about Buck and his journey as of right now. But he knows something considering he’s giving interviews talking about his current on screen love interest in present tense and hoping he stays around as a friend in the future. Why wouldn’t he be hopeful that his current love interest be an endgame type partner??? He knows something. Ryan knows something. I mean even Oliver choosing to post mostly Ryan to his instagram and sharing Buddie content this season is a huge difference from other seasons. No but why do I feel like there’s definitely something that’s gonna happen between Buck and Eddie during the bachelor party. Now I’m not saying there will be actual cheating involved. But imagine they’re so happy and having fun, letting go, enjoying each other’s company. And maybe there’s a moment in which they look into each other’s eyes and something just *clicks* Maybe even they both lean in for an almost kiss but something happens and *poof* it gets interrupted. Obviously there’s more drinking and they both knock out and when they wake up, there’s the concern over Chimney missing so they clearly don’t remember anything from the previous night. Shit happens, things are hectic and neither Buck or Eddie recall their almost kiss in the midst of chaos. But then, then maybe they make eye contact during the vows and boom, it all comes back to them. The longing in their eyes, the way they felt alive next to each other, the almost kiss. Maybe it happens at the wedding when they’re dancing with their respective dates and can’t keep their eyes off each other? Or maybe it happens a bit later but I feel like that’ll be a wonderful catalyst for each man separately. And to further it along, Eddie seeing Buck with Tommy would quicken the turmoil he’s facing within him. Yeah it’ll be chefs kiss tbh.
