- was selectively mute for a good portion of her childhood - realized she was a lesbian at a young age, around eight or so. there was a girl in her class who used to trade sandwiches with her at lunch time and she fell in love. - her grandmother taught her a few different types of dances. she used to be able to do a decent pirouette, but her postures so fucked now she doesn’t even bother. also she’s just…not that into ballet anymore. she still really likes dancing tho. slow dancing…of course. - taught her grandfathers parrot to say fuck (im kidding but also not really) - her favourite nursery rhyme is ‘sing a song of sixpence’ and she used to sing it to tenn at night after the twins went missing. before that her favourite nursery rhyme was hey diddle diddle but tenn really likes sing a song of sixpence and seeing him smile in such a hard time….yeah…. - grew up listening to really old country-style music. she often references ‘that one song about keying your cheating husbands car.’ - would like to one day, key a car - has tricked louis into eating a bug. and has been tricked into eating a bug……. - used to dot the ‘i’ in her name with a star (not a heart, that was brody’s thing) - her hand-writing is really really bad. like it’s always been bad but it’s just gotten worse because she never writes anymore. it’s like scribble. but her hands tend to shake a lot so she can’t help it. - has never eaten a peach in her LIFE -  this is basically canon but: is deeply insecure, in more ways than one. has never felt good enough for her friends or girlfriend(s), (meaning minnie or clem,,,but i imagine she gets better at dealing with this around clem). - there’s an old game of monopoly at ericons’ and violet makes the mistake of playing it with louis one time and he tries to cheat multiple times but somehow ends up losing every game they play (all of which last hours), and basically she learns never to play board games with louis again because it always ends with him crying or her flipping the board over and storming off. - whenever someone calls her a bitch she tallies it on her wall - and when it reaches five she goes the fuck off - i say this because violet has definitely punched mitch and marlon countless times for this - i said this in my ship post but: violets bones crackle like snapped kit kats and it terrifies everyone at the school - she literally sounds like a clicker. you hear her creeping down the halls in the dead of night and it’s like she’s gone full last of us mode - cracks her knuckles a lot. like, annoyingly, a lot. - this is also prominent in my writing but: when clem calls her sweetheart…..she becomes…an absolute mess… - went through a phase where all she wanted to do was tear her clothes apart and ending up destroying many pairs of jeans because of this and like it’s the apocalypse violet, come onnn - for this reason she spent a year wearing one of brodys old pairs and they didnt fit and it sucked because .. they were purple ..
