it's not the powers that set us apart, but the courage that binds us together.
(not a ship edit, just a tribute to an underrated work-dad and work-daughter duo)

Thank you, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, for giving me one of my favorite fictional characters of all time and for being my comfort movie over this past decade. This movie, mostly Bucky and his arc, is what made me get into comic books. That's how damn intriguing this stroy arc, mainly Bucky, is. I developed so many obsessions because of this movie, and I am grateful for it.

10 years of Captain America: The Winter Soldier and extra angsty stucky. Then Marvel had to go and separate and ruin the most interesting and loveable dynamic duo.

Side note: I enjoy analyzing and focusing on the little details of movies (and any type of story). Especially fight scenes. In this moment, Bucky drops the knife from his right hand to his left. Which is a move that is typically used when someone wants to use their knife in their other hand, and it's what it looks like he is going to do at first. Steve probably also assumes Bucky is going to try stabbing him with the knife in his left hand. He even moves his gaze to follow the knife. Instead, Bucky punches him in the face with his right hand while Steve is focused on his metal arm that now holds a knife. Bucky did all of this on purpose to distract Steve. He made Steve vulnerable and open for a strong, direct hit because he got tired of Steve blocking everything with his shield.
Also, as stated/shown in the comics, Bucky is well aware that people fear and focus more on his metal arm, and he uses that to his advantage. Although it's not stated in the mcu, movie Bucky definitely uses this tactic too, and it shows in this moment.
Bucky Barnes is an incredible strategist, even while brainwashed. We need to start giving him more recognition for it. ( The credit, in this case, actually goes to the creators and stunt coordinators of the movie.)

Celebrating 10 years of Captain America: The Winter Soldier continues
Bucky was created for us to obsess over. Why else would they make him mentally, emotionally damaged, and physically dangerous all roled up in one hot package?

10 years of Captain America: The Winter Soldier and one of the best depictions/versions of Natasha (the only other being her solo film). The mcu did her kinda dirty in everything else.
I love watching her beat men up with ease.

10 years of Captain America: the Winter Soldier and Anothony Mackie's badass debut as Sam Wilson.
He is far too underrated as a fighter. This man can take you out on land and in the air.
Never bring a knife to a gun fight… Unless you’re Natasha Romanoff or Bucky Barnes. Then by all means bring a friggin letter opener if you like, the guy with the gun is doomed either way.
