the fact that it’s impossible for him to be a cop considering everyone can just be like “i’ll get ben arrested too” fucks me up man
they know how much ben means to him and that he’s willing to risk anything for him and they use that against him.

sidenote: its nice to see the parallel between the boat scene- “i would. for callum, i would.” and callum then risking everything for ben too i love their dynamic so much i just want them to be happy :,))
