A CRUEL SUMMER WITH YOU ☼ CH08
“You should play it sometime,” Will blurts out suddenly, and Mike opens his eyes, turning to look at him in surprise. In the dim lighting, Mike can just barely make out the rosy flush of his cheeks as he adds, “You know, um, at… like a campfire or something.” For a brief moment, his gaze flickers to Mike’s guitar case sitting on the porch behind them, and an unspoken understanding passes between the two of them. “Not exactly a good campfire song,” Mike points out quietly. Will’s lips twitch upward into a smile. “No,” he agrees, and his eyes wander back to the guitar case again, “it’s really not.”

Sooo a while ago I came across this post by @bisexualshitwholovesshakespeare (what a perfect url btw 10/10) about how maybe back before the Beginning Aziraphale Said Something To Someone which led to a chain of events which ultimately led to the Fall. And, well, my brain couldn't let it go anymore.
I kept thinking about how this kind of guilt would always, always, constantly linger in the back of Aziraphale's mind, and have an effect on basically every single conversation he has with Crowley, and on how he sees him and interprets his actions and interacts with him. And... what if that guilt and that fear of Crowley finding out took the shape of the Starmaker?
So here's part 1-6 of me art-vomiting my feelings about this out onto my ipad, I apologize they're all a bit messy but I don't have the patience to turn all of these into actually completely finished pieces.
Look forward to more of this in the future probably because this brain-worm is strong.

*sips tea* it's dumb crossovers time
I guess here King Arthur was a real dude who became legend after his death (in which demons and angels might have been involved). Our heroes now have a mystery to solve, with the help of a certain sorcerer.......

Mike’s amusement at seeing him downright miserable seems to only intensify upon looking at what must be a very disgruntled look on Will’s face. “So,” he says, nudging Will’s shoulder with one of his. “Wilderness Week, huh?” Will wants to say something along the lines of I’d rather be drowning in the lake, but he doesn’t – mostly because he’s not convinced that Mike wouldn’t make it happen for him. “Fuck off,” he says instead, and Mike nods. “Noted,” he says solemnly. “Will do.”

Hi Mr Gaiman,
I have to ask – did Crowley truly see the whole 'fall in love under an awning during a rainstorm' thing in a Richard Curtis film, or did he just think about how him and Aziraphale fell in love/their history and thought that was how everyone fell in love?
Are there any Richard Curtis films in which that happened?

Hello Mr. Gaiman,
First of all, HUGE fan of Good Omens (both the book and show). I don’t remember the last time I’ve been so enthralled by characters and a story. I absolutely adored Season 2 and have been recommending the show to all my peers. It’s also inspired me to get back into my art, so I thank you for that.
Okay, on to the question: I’ve been on my n’th rewatch of the show and am a little confused with something regarding how Crowley talks about his fall. Throughout the whole first season he’s going on about how he didn’t mean to become a demon and only ever asked questions, hung out with the wrong people, etc. But then in season 2 he talks about remembering fighting in the Great War (regardless of whether he recalls poor Furfur being there). I feel like knowingly fighting in a war against the forces of Heaven must come with the expectation or at least consideration of being cast out or punished in some way. So why say “I only ever asked questions” when he evidently did much more?
I'm not sure that Crowley is the most reliable of narrators when talking about his Fall.

my self indulgent headcanon is that college aged mike wheeler gets into the good omens book when it comes out in 1990 and convinces will to read it too and then when halloween comes around, mike goes as crowley and will is his aziraphale
then like 30 years later when the good omens show drops and it's halloween, they dress up as aziraphale and crowley again except this time will wants to be crowley and mike (now a 50 something year old bookish teacher) dresses up as aziraphale
