Dear Daniel,

I just wanted to thank you, thank you for being an inspiration, a reason to smile and for bringing the best people in my life.

I’ve been through a lot in life, i never thought i would be able to smile again. I felt like shit, unworthy of love most of the time the last couple of years. But with you I found an inspiration to keep going. Your mental health video showed me that I can reach every single goal I set myself.

It’s because of you I found my best friends, it’s because of you I smile more often, it’s because of you I wear what I want, I talk about the things that make me happy, that after years I want to be happy. Whenever I feel like crying I watch one of your or phil’s videos and I smile, laugh and find my happiness. I got more confident, I found friends and it’s because of you I tell myself every single day: Keep going sweetie, he’ll be proud, he wants you too.

I wrote you a four pages long letter, but it’s way to personal to publish it on tumblr, so this is basically a brief summary of it. I wanted to give it to you and Phil but I didn’t meet you and I have literally no idea how I can give it to you, but I really hope you had an amazing day full of joy and happiness, because that’s all you deserve. I can’t believe you’re already 27, with all that bullshit you have to go through, and i can perfectly fine understand how this can get, this inner voice bullying you, telling you you’re shit, but you kept fighting. And that, keeping fighting even though things seem like they will never be okay again, shows millions of people, among me, that life is worth living. Thank you for that.

if anyone was at ii berlin (9th june), took photos and would be so nice to send them to me, i’ll love you forever.

i tried to take some but the security lady told me to put my phone down, but it’s alrighty all that matters is that we saw them, it would however mean a lot to me if someone would send me some pictures so i can look at them when i feel bad and can’t for whatever reason not watch their videos. - Dan keeps a pride flag, anime figurines and rare memes in the secret box under his bed

- Phil: Brendon Urie should be banned because he’s too beautiful, just looking at his forehead makes your eyes fall out

- Dan while justifying why a meteor crashing into the earth would be a good thing: “smack me daddy”

- Dan drank a pint of champagne when he was 10 at his aunt’s wedding because it tasted like sprite
