First time at therapy. 

Me (explaining how I just can’t talk sometimes): You know, I’m a little shy, I’ve always been a little shy. Not a big deal. Haha. 

The therapist:  (Dude), you’re selectively mute. 

Me: :/ 

talking to myself and layers of reality

Talking to myself and adding layers to reality seems normal when I do it and nobody is watching, but then I try to explain it to others and I go: “Oh, I know this sounds crazy but it’s totally normal to me. I always do it like this. And why would reality even matter in this case anyways?”  And then everyone looks at me weirdly and confused.  Just that they don’t.  Because that conversation was made up, too.
