Suffolk sheep!
Not planning (for now) on glazing it (...maybe the small ones... minecraft-sheep-like... if I get transparent coloured glazes... but I don't have them for now).
Sheep second to last and last are actually almost the same size, but second to last took about four times as long to do (better feet and wool)
Hi there, I love your work! Would you mind telling me which glaze combination you used/how you achieved the outside of the Bigger Octobowl #2? Iāve been scouring the glaze layering resources for ages and i canāt figure it out but I really love it. If itās not something you want to share then absolutely no worries! <3
Good news! That's actually a single glaze - it's Spectrum's floating blue & I LOVE how it enthusiastically splits into perfect blue/green tendrils! Highly recommend Spectrum's floating glazes in general, as they do some really neat stuff with just one glaze :)
This is another sample guy I made to test it (before slapping it on the octo-bowl)
& it also looks VERY neat on black clay (PSH 540i)
I canāt stop thinking about crocodiles for some reason so hereās some cool pictures I found of probably the second largest one in captivity, his name is Utan:
isnāt he beautiful
listen to the SOUND when he bites
youtube
and thatās not even a real power bite, thatās mostly just heavy bone falling on heavy bone from his jaws and the air rushing out from between them
