In the past hour I have witnessed:
-a thunderstorm roll in despite every weather prediction service saying there are 0 thunderstorms in the area.
-several birds attempt to fly against the wind (they don't get very far).
-Enough hail to turn a good chunk of the ground white get dumped in a matter of seconds.
-multiple rainbows appear and disappear.
It's been an eventful afternoon

Sometimes fiction doesn’t have a moral to the story. Sometimes fiction points at something and goes “Ever thought about THAT???” And you look at what it’s pointing at for a bit.

OC in Three
I've been tagged by the wonderful @tabswrites! Thanks for the tag! I'll do this for a character from Crying Wolf. I've already done this tag for Ogwut and Justine, so I'll do a different character, as determined by dice roll. And the die has chosen... SMAS!
But first, the no pressure tags! I'll be tagging @loopyhoopywrites, @mary-is-writing, @afoolandathief, @amewinterswriting, and open tag!
Now, onto those images!

OC Takeover Tag
I've been tagged by the splendid @talesofsorrowandofruin! Thanks for the tag!
Rules: for any OCs you’d like, if they stole your phone/laptop and got on your Tumblr, what would they do/post on it?
I'm going to do this for characters from Crying Wolf, but first the no pressure tags! I'll be tagging @sarandipitywrites, @tabswrites, @revenantlore, @kaylinalexanderbooks, and open tag!
Now, let's see what those laptop thieves have done!
Justine: Proceeds to get herself into several arguments whose topics range from whether or not pineapple belongs on pizza to mutally assured nuclear destruction. Some of these arguments are with internet trolls, but she never realizes it. The dash is filled with essay-length text posts.
SMAS: Through carefully planted posts, manages to intentionally start wars in five countries and influence the elections of another four. Some of this would be to benefit people who were nice to them, but most of it is to ruin the lives of anyone who was rude to them.
Ogwut: He would return my laptop because stealing is mean.
Jack: He doesn't know how to read (at least not at the start of Crying Wolf. He does learn though!), but that doesn't mean he can't enjoy all the pretty art! He'd spend hours perusing and would eventually figure out the reblog function. He would then proceed to reblog as much art as possible.
Theo: Learns about memes and reblogs many of them. Might also try his hand at constructing a "shitpost." Is somehow wildly successful at this.
Lux: He won't reblog or like or post anything. Instead, he lurks, exploring various tags on both nature and crafts.
Wotan: Reblogs a wide variety of posts, ranging from long text posts to memes to videos of backyard science experiments to shitposts to cute animal videos to fashion moodboards. There is no observable pattern. Tumblr doesn't have an algorithm, but if it did, he would be its worst nightmare.
Daisy: She would post pictures and videos of her dog, Brutus. He becomes a Tumblr celebrity.

Not A Villain Song tag
I've been by amazing @tabswrites! Thanks for the tag!
Rules: Pick a song for the antagonist/ villain of your WIP, but the twist is that it can't be obvious that it is a song for the villain. As in: if someone listened to the song and didn't know it was about the villain, they couldn't guess!
I'll be doing this for the main villain of Crying Wolf, SMAS!
But first, the no pressure tags! I'll be tagging @mary-is-writing, @space-writes, @chauceryfairytales, @cat-esper, and open tag!
Now, onto that SMAS song!

The whole greatsword scabbard discourse gets me because, like, we know the answer to this one. We've got primary sources talking about it. The answer to "how do you carry a weapon that's more than a yard or so long" is:
If you don't think you'll need it on short notice and you're lucky enough to have access to a wagon or other means of transport, you don't carry it at all – you stick it in the wagon.
If you do think you'll need it on short notice or you don't have a wagon, you just carry it in your hands everywhere you go and constantly complain about how dumb and awkward that is, unless you're a professional mercenary and/or independently wealthy, in which case you hire a guy to follow you around carrying it in his hands everywhere you go and he complains about how dumb and awkward that is (though probably not while you're listening).

Last Line/Heads Up Seven Up Tag
I've been tagged by the terrific @kaylinalexanderbooks and @talesofsorrowandofruin! Thanks for the tags! I'll be sharing the last seven (and a bit) lines I've worked on for Crying Wolf.
But first, the no pressure tags! I'll be tagging @revenantlore, @loopyhoopywrites, @emelkae, @afoolandathief, @isherwoodj, @amewinterswriting, and open tag!
Now, onto Crying Wolf!
Though she assumed the others also didn’t like being corpses, they oggled at the poster, weighing the worth of human lives in gold, their own on the scales. Then they would glance at each other, trying to evaluate who wanted it, how badly, and most of all, who was the best. Long-Timer put up the next bounty. “WANTED: DEAD OR ALIVE.” A new number, a new life was added to the mental arithmatic of blood and gold. Brutus gave a dispondant huff and adjusted his head on her lap; Daisy had stopped petting him at some point. She glanced down at him and grinned. “Oh where oh where did all the scritches go?” she cooed.

Find the Word Tag
I've been tagged by the spectacular @sarandipitywrites! Thanks for the tag! My words are consume, cliff, cry, and consider. I'll be sharing excerpts from Crying Wolf.
But first, the no pressure tags! I'll be tagging @chauceryfairytales, @the-down-upside-finch, @talesofsorrowandofruin, @tabswrites, and open tag! Your words are blood, mud, flood, and dud!
Now, onto Crying Wolf!
Consume
Lady Boots liked to style her hair in an intricate manner as a testament to her wealth and power. That night, her hair had been styled to look like an exotic fish. But to Lux, her hair looked like a bird. After having consumed countless pints of cream ale, he voiced that thought. Loudly. To mistake the creature Lady Boots had styled hair to look like was insulting enough. To accuse her of styling her hair to look like a bird, a creature which everyone considered sinful, was unforgivable. Faster than you can say “blasphemy,” she had her entourage pin Lux to the bar so she could unleash her fury upon him.
Cliff
Not found! I'll share a fun fact instead! The Order of Grav believe that the dead live in the sky, with good souls living on the Moon and bad souls burning on Sun.
Cry
“I need to punish them!” was the boy’s muffled cry. Ogwut felt a pang in his heart. The boy’s urges were wrong, but he knew where they came from. He had felt them once, when all he knew was barren desert and angry cries. He found them more trouble than they were worth. Why bother to hurt others when he couldn’t be hurt in turn? He was lucky to have never acted upon them. He was lucky he was able to see the world beyond the angry cries
Consider
Jack considered doing what the mercenaries commanded. It was only a brief moment of consideration however and he decided to completely ignore them. The worst they could do was kill him and he had already died before.
