had an assignment to adapt a scene from any medium into a one-page comic with no parameters for a level of skill or finish, so I threw this into my sketchbook. I chose what I was going to work on and this fell out of me all in about 45 minutes flat. it’s dialogue from the Broadway musical adaptation of Frozen.
I used to love drawing comics so, so much, but I only had the stamina and motivation to make them a handful of times in my teens before I hit full and complete burnout.
I haven’t drawn one in years. I was shocked by how quickly this came together, and by how good it felt to do.

It's a heartwarming story about Anna and Agnarr (and little bit of Iduna), I love actually Agnarr did brought Young Anna went out even though the gate is closed, and did told her he loves Anna just the way she is, awww it's lovely 😭
My original idea was going to edit Anna and Agnarr's back looking at the harbor, but sadly I can't find a single picture of Agnarr's back 🥺 I've tried my best to find a harbor screencap, and try to find a perfect picture for nine-years-old Anna and Agnarr, and here's the result. It's not my original idea but at least it looks good as well 😄

"Chocolate makes everything better."
My most favorite quote in one of the Frozen novel named "Dangerous Secrets: The Story of Iduna and Agnarr" by Mari Mancusi and I've made a poster for it... 💙
This is my most favorite Frozen novel so far! It tells the backstory of Iduna and Agnarr which is really tight with the movie imo and I would consider it as canon.
I love how the Agduna actually went to the Enchanted Forest bi-yearly to check on the mist, I love that Iduna use Northuldra way proposed to Agnarr, I love how they always share their secret times in library secret room, I love everything in this novel 🌹
I've tried to include some elements in the poster like the tree Agduna always hanging around, the Monolith, Sir Jorgenbjorgen, the map to Valley of the Living Rock, the bridge that causing everything, and the ship that never sail back 😭 Though I've missing a few like the windmill, reindeers etc as there's limited space in the poster 😆

Your Iduna headcanons? 🍁
🍁 It kind of contradicts Dangerous Secrets, but I like to think that she and Agnarr got to know each other, that the deleted scenes happened, Agnarr just forgot it because he hit his head.
🍁 Iduna seems to have some connection with the Air. Not like Elsa with the Water, but not like any other member of the Northuldra tribe. She was special since the beginning.
🍁 She was torn between two places. She loved Arendelle and Agnarr, but she missed the Forest.
🍁 I headcanon that there was a family, "our oldest family" of shamans, leaders and healers, and it was foretold that the Fifth Spirit would come from it. It's Iduna's family. Maybe some might think that Iduna herself was going to become the Spirit because Gale made her her favourite.
🍁 She loved singing but was afraid that Agnarr could recognize the voice.
🍁 It was love from the first sight, first a childish philia, later something other.
🍁 Iduna's hair was so lush and free that she needed a special balm to make it into an Arendellian hairstyle. Frozen has a thing for hair symbolism, does it?
🍁 Iduna was spending so many times in the library and in the secret room, she traveled to some merchants and forgotten book stores to find some medieval manuscripts and notes about Nordic folklore and legends.
🍁 Iduna didn't know for sure that her people were not to blame but she wanted peace and reconciliation.
🍁 She agreed with Agnarr about the isolation because she did not know another way. Magic of Nature was celebrated back then among her people but here in Elsa, she saw something other, too powerful magic of ice; she saw that Elsa was afraid of it.
🍁 She considered Johan for a moment when Agnarr seemed to be unreachable, but her love to the latter was too strong to settle with another.
🍁 Iduna would have given birth to the gifted child even if she married someone else.
🍁 In the end, she blamed herself (Elsa will inherit it).
🍁 Anna inherited her love to romance books and balls.
🍁 All windmills of Arendelle were made by Iduna.
🍁 Iduna thought about Lord Peterssen as of her foster father.
🍁 Iduna loved needlework and knitting, she embroidered her purple dress by herself.
🍁 There were so many moments when Iduna wanted to tell Agnarr about everything, but there were also many moments when she wanted to forget about her past.
🍁 The first year after the wedding, they built their estate in the mountains, it was Iduna's idea to be closer to Nature.
🍁 When Iduna became queen, she took over the guardianship of the Orphanage and improved the conditions here.
🍁 She also opened a public children library.
🍁 Iduna studied better than Agnarr. Their teachers loved her.
🍁 She often persuaded him to sneak out the castle to go for a walk or buy something in the town (chocolate), whereas without her Agnarr was indecisive and would have obediently sat behind closed gates.
🍁 The other children at the Orphanage might be jealous that she was chosen for the castle but Iduna knew why it was that: because the Regent knew that she was the Northuldra.
🍁 Iduna, describing Agnarr her supposedly lost behind the mist wall parents, told real stories about Yelana, the Leader and her mother.
🍁 She told Elsa and Anna many stories of Northuldra, about giants, huldras, the heavenly elk and the secret white river. The girls thought she had composed them herself.
🍁 There was at least one case when Agnarr or the sisters got sick, and Iduna treated them with herbs according to the Northuldra recipe, which she remembered.
🍁 Iduna loved to tease Agnarr and make little pranks to see his smile, because the prince was usually sad and quiet.
🍁 When the masquerade ball was held in Arendelle, she recognized him even in a mask.
🍁 Iduna felt weird when he was talking about his mysterious lovely savior, so every time she tried to distract him.
🍁 Their last days on the ship(I call it "The royal crocus") were the calmest and clearest: finally no more secrets between them. They were talking a lot to get to know each other once again.

One Last Goodbye
Majesties Elsa and Anna exchanged one last look before walking away from the altar set up between the two tombstones. It had already begun to get dark, but there was still no sign of the moon’s presence. The sisters wore hooded robes that were pulled down creating a small shadow over their faces. Elsa’s tunic was grayish white; it wasn’t created by magic and it matched the darker color the younger one wore. It was the first time they had worn those tunics, but although the feeling that was in their hearts at that moment was more compatible with the euphoria than with the mourning that the clothes denounced, the women decided by common accord that they would go like this for that moment. Kristoff and his other friends didn’t even ask to accompany the sisters, it was just a moment for the two women.
The moon finally begins to show signs that it would appear and that is why, by instinct, the sisters hold hands, if asked, not even they themselves would know who reached out first.
“It’s starting” whispers Elsa as the first moonbeam hits the ground and begins to approach the altar as the moon appears in the sky from behind the clouds.
"Do you think it will work?“ Anna asks, squeezing her sister’s hand. "It still sounds like something hard to believe.”
“Yelana said it would work, even though it’s been almost forty years since anyone has tried.”
“What if it doesn’t?” Anna is looking at her sister who at that moment had her eyes fixed on the altar.
"And if that doesn’t work, I promise I’ll show you the best memento of them I’ve ever been able to find in Ahtohallan.“ Anna makes her shoulders touch Elsa’s.
The Queen of Arendelle was skeptical about this whole idea, even after learning of Sissel and Inger’s history. But she also knew that magic was still a great mystery even for Yelana who knew many stories and legends, legends that she had passed on to Honeymaren who in turn passed them on to Elsa in one of their dozens of conversations they had together walking through the Enchanted Forest.
Once again Anna looks up into her older sister’s face, she is still amazed at how these years have changed them since the day of Elsa’s coronation. Back then Elsa was afraid of her own magic and now she got anxious whenever she discovered a new magical curiosity. The white blonde’s blue eyes sparkle with emotion that finally makes Anna look back at the small building. In the sky, the moon was fully visible in its full form and the light it emitted bathed the altar built by the sisters between the tombstones of their parents, the tombstones of Iduna and Agnarr who at that moment looked at their daughters with a serene expression.
For a few seconds neither of them can react, it was really their parents wearing the same clothes they had seen before boarding the ship. But they didn’t seem to have legs, and in their place was the sort of greenish haze that their bodies were made of.
“My little snow, my little princess” exclaims Iduna accompanied by her husband, which brings the daughters to tears.
“Is that really you” Elsa manages to say as she cries. "I’m very sorry.”
"For what reason do you apologize my daughter?“ Ask Agnar.
“The trip that took their lives was my fault. You wanted to know more about my powers, a way to help me, but… But-”
“But we make mistakes,” interrupts Iduna. “We didn’t see that the answer was right in front of us the whole time.” Elsa looked confused but finally looked at Anna who was hugging her.
“We were afraid,” begins Agnarr, “we made the wrong decisions. We were flawed, I was wrong to choose your isolation to protect you instead of love and understanding to go through this together. I don’t blame you for hating me Elsa.”
“I would never hate you; I would never hate any of you.
“ But you grew to hate yourself,” Anna finally says, “and blame yourself for the accident when we were kids. Even when we reconciled, I still saw that shadow over his sister. You are not to blame for what happened; It was an accident.“
Iduna with her hand turns her husband’s face towards her.
“I didn’t know what to do at that time either, I was lost too, just wanting our girls to be safe. And I was still afraid to tell the truth about my origin fearing that it would hurt you even more after so many secrets hurt you.”
“Iduna” whispers the man holding her hand tenderly.
Anna looks at her parents and notices that once again clouds begin to cover the moon.
"Are you leaving already? We can’t even talk yet, I wanted to talk about my fiance and ask for tips on how to govern-”
“Governing Arendelle” completes Agnarr. “We already know this and yes Elsa, we are proud of you and we understand your decision to go live in the Enchanted Forest and leave the throne to Anna. And it’s Elsa you should turn to for advice, always remember that the most important thing is your love for each other and that even when you’re apart-“
“You were together” completes Iduna.
The Snow Queen looks at her mother as she is already crumbling in the fading moonlight.
“And Elsa sends a message to Yelana, tells her that she was like my second mother, that thanks to her teachings and especially her scolding” she laughs “I was able to live a happy life. And please don’t ask her about the day I broke my leg, the story is very embarrassing and funny.”
“Noted” replies the daughter.
"Anna" calls Agnarr. “Give my regards to my friend. Mattias and I didn’t have many good stories, but he was also very important in my life. I have never forgotten the advice he gave me, ask him for some in times of doubt.”
“Mattias is truly an amazing man.”
The moon was almost completely covered by clouds, but the two still had time for one last moment. All they wanted most was to hug their daughters, but they knew that was impossible and so, without saying anything else, they just gave her one last look, meaning with that simple gesture everything they didn’t have time to say. And that was the last goodbye.
Elsa and Anna stayed there for a few more minutes, holding each other, looking at the altar in the middle of the tombstones. They remembered the rules Yelana had explained to them and they knew it was really goodbye, but they were happy for the brief moments and when the two women returned to the castle and found their friends again, they didn’t need to ask anything because the smile that the two sisters had on their faces and the way their eyes sparkled was all they needed to know.
