#embarrassed to show y’all my uggo sketches but i hope this is interesting/helpful to someone!#i re-draw things a LOT so you can see why it takes me months to finish anything that’s freehanded lol#for freehand drawing i always draw with pencil on paper take a picture then draw over it#it’s just too hard for me to draw sketches on a tablet#i also fill in with flat colors before doing final lineart since its hard to see mistakes without color imo#then I redraw/fill in with flat colors/flip my canvas horizontally until i can’t see glaring mistakes and/or get tired of working on it lol#this slowness is why a lot of my art is just low-effort trace/redraws#also when i use refs for style/poses/anatomy i like to just paste it into the canvas#for the final background/effects/color adjustment i usually do it in a different file so its not included in the process vid#anyway sry for no art im art-blocked/busy with real life stuff 😭#art process#yugioh#my art
